Scope

This specification covers requirements for the production of a sterile solution of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium hydroxide and lactic acid in water for injections. NOTE: Information regarding the verification of the quality of the product and a sampling plan that could be used to assess compliance with the specification of a lot of the product are given in Appendix A.
