This specification covers the requirements for seven classes (based on density) of reconstituted flexible polyurethane foams, in the form of blocks, slabs, sheets, and shapes cut from these.
NOTE
a) The titles of standards referred to by number in the specification are given in appendix A.
b) Requirements that must be specified by the purchaser are listed in appendix B.
c) Reconstituted foams have poor resistance to dry-cleaning solvents and users are advised to consult the manufacturer of the foam regarding suitable solvents and methods before undertaking cleaning operations.
