Scope: This standard specifies the test method for the thermal stability of unused organic heat transfer materials, including organic heat transfer materials whose maximum service temperature under normal pressure is higher than their boiling point. This standard does not evaluate the applicability of silicone heat transfer materials. This standard deals with certain hazardous substances, operations and equipment, and does not intend to make recommendations on all safety issues related thereto. Therefore, appropriate safety and protective measures should be established and the applicability of relevant regulatory limitations should be determined before using this standard.
