Scope

This part specifies the environmental parameters and severity levels of high-altitude environmental conditions for mechanical products. This section applies to general-purpose mechanical industrial products used at high altitudes between 1000 m and 5000 m. Including agricultural machinery, internal combustion engines, construction machinery, mining machinery, petrochemical general machinery, electrical products, instruments, machine tools, general parts, heavy machinery, lifting and transportation machinery, etc. This section does not apply to mechanical products used in special environmental conditions such as high-altitude areas with explosive hazardous media and mines.
