Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of dewaxed shellac flakes, decolorized shellac flakes and decolorized dewaxed shellac flakes. This standard applies to shellac sheets processed by solvent dewaxing and activated carbon decolorization.
