- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for the determination of hydrochloric acid insoluble ash in feed. The appropriate treatment method is determined by the type of sample. Burning treatment applies to organic single feeds and compound feeds (except as mentioned in acid treatment). The acid treatment method is suitable for minerals, mineral mixtures and compound feeds whose hydrochloric acid insoluble ash content measured by the burning treatment method is greater than 1%.
