Scope: This standard specifies the structure, coding object, management and maintenance organization, distribution rules and metadata related to the coding of Chinese standard musical works. This standard applies to abstract intellectual or artistic creations composed entirely of sounds. This standard does not apply to the form of expression of musical works or its carrier form. The expression form or carrier form of musical works should belong to other special identification systems. The registration of the Chinese standard music work code is not identical to the copyright registration, nor does it naturally become the legal evidence of the intellectual property rights of the audiovisual work.
