Scope: This standard specifies the main characteristics of an alternator for reciprocating internal combustion engine (RIC) drive under the control of a voltage regulator, and is a supplement to the technical requirements of GB 755-2008. This standard applies to such generators used on land and ships, but not to generating sets used on aviation or land vehicles and locomotives.
