In order to be able to compare hydraulic test equipment from different sources, this standard establishes: a list of characteristics; standard methods for obtaining certain characteristics. This standard provides the following two description levels for describing hydraulic test equipment: Level 1 description; Level 2 description. This standard applies to the following equipment: hydraulic vibration generators [actuators, servo valves, all or part of position control devices and, if required, static force compensation devices]; servo valve control devices; hydraulic transmission systems; complete Hydraulic vibration generator system.
