Scope

This International Standard: a) Establish a framework for evaluating the suitability of candidate functional scale measurement (FSM) methods for each provision of JIS X 0135-1. b) Specify the conformity assessment process to determine whether FSM method candidates satisfy the requirements of JIS X 0135-1. c) specifying requirements for carrying out conformity assessments to ensure reproducibility of the conformity assessment process and consistency of conformity decisions and final results; d) the products of the conformity assessment process are objective, unbiased, consistent, reproducible, complete and auditable;
