Scope

This standard specifies the definition, classification, quality grade, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, use and maintenance of seawater cultured pearls. This standard applies to seawater cultured nucleated pearls artificially cultivated in seawater environments, but does not apply to seawater cultured nucleated pearls and seawater natural pearls.
