Scope

This standard specifies the ammonium thiocyanide titration method for chloride concentration in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of chloride in natural water, boiler water and circulating cooling water. Chloride (measured as chloride ions) measurement range: 5~100mg/L. Water samples with chloride content greater than 100mg/L should be measured after dilution.
