Scope

This standard specifies a method for the determination of clenbuterol hydrochloride in feed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. This standard is applicable to the rapid screening of clenbuterol hydrochloride in compound feeds, concentrated feeds and additive premixed feeds. The lowest limit of quantitation of this method is 10 μg/kg. This method is suitable for screening samples. Those with positive test results need to be further confirmed by other methods.
