Scope
This part of GB/T 2951 specifies the test methods for polymer insulation and sheathing materials for power distribution and communication cables and optical cables, including ship and offshore cables and optical cables. These test methods are applicable to polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) blends, including foam insulation and skinned foam insulation.
