- This part of GB/T 5822 specifies the method for the determination of petroleum ether insoluble matter in railway diesel engine oil. This section includes method A (volumetric method) and method B (gravimetric method). This part is applicable to the determination of the petroleum ether insoluble content of used and in-use third-generation and fourth-generation diesel engine oils (hereinafter referred to as engine oils).
