Scope

In order to comprehensively promote the development of pollution-free production of agricultural products in our province, ensure the food safety of agricultural products and the quality of agricultural ecological environment, and meet the needs of consumers, this standard is specially formulated. This standard proposes the environmental technical conditions of the place of production, cultivation techniques, and physical, biological, ecological, chemical and other safety measures to control pests and diseases for the pollution-free production of cucumbers. Appendix A of this standard is a reminder appendix. This standard is proposed and administered by the Hebei Provincial Department of Agriculture. This standard was drafted by: Hebei Provincial Plant Protection General Station, Hebei Provincial Agricultural Technology Promotion General Station, Hebei Provincial Soil and Fertilizer General Station. The main drafters of this standard: Yang Yanjie, Wang Zhenzhuang, Li Xiuqin, Zhang Lizhan, Zhao Rudi, Huang Xiaochun, Yang Shengtang, Sun Guangming. This standard was drafted by Hebei Province The Provincial Agricultural Technology Extension Station, the Hebei Provincial Plant Protection Station, and the Hebei Provincial Soil and Fertilizer Station are responsible for the explanation. This standard will be implemented from August 25, 2001. This standard specifies the production environment and technical conditions for pollution-free cucumbers with a yield of 37500kg~90000kg per hectare (2500kg/667m2~6000kg/667m2), principles and requirements for the use of fertilizers and pesticides, and a series of production management measures. This standard applies to pollution-free cucumber production in open fields and protected areas in Hebei Province.
