Scope
This standard was proposed by the Hebei Provincial Department of Chemical Industry. This standard was drafted by: Hebei Food Additive Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are: Jiang Huashun, Li Zhiguo, and Li Fuhua. This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and transportation of the food additive oil-soluble curcumin. This standard applies to curcumin obtained from the rhizomes of Zingiberaceae plants by physical extraction and purification with organic solvents, and then emulsified to become oil-soluble curcumin, which can be used as a coloring agent in the food industry.
