Scope: Although our province is the main human-powered tricycle production base in the country, due to the low quality of enterprises and chaotic management, a considerable number of enterprises still produce without standards, resulting in poor quality products and shoddy products spreading throughout the province. In order to combat counterfeiting, promote the normal development of the human-powered tricycle industry in our province, and strengthen industry management, we propose to formulate local standards for the safety requirements of human-powered tricycles in Hebei Province. This standard is based on the international standard ISO421. - t989 "Bicycle Safety Requirements", ISO7176}I-1986 "Method for Testing Static Stability of Wheelchairs" ISOiDIS7l76i12-1986 "Method for Testing Motion Trajectory Characteristics of Manual Wheelchairs" and other standards are formulated. This standard is proposed and administered by the Hebei Light Industry Standardization Technical Committee. This standard was drafted by: Hebei Bicycle Corporation, Hebei Prosthetic Limb Factory. The main drafters of this standard: Sun Zemin, Zhao Chunming, Zhou Wenhua, Guo Wenyu, Wang Rui. This standard specifies the safety requirements, test methods and judgment rules for human-powered tricycles. This standard applies to heavy-duty, lightweight and foldable human-powered tricycles.
