- In order to improve the quality of building waterproofing projects in Beijing and ensure that the design and construction of basement waterproofing in construction projects meet the requirements of ensuring quality, advanced technology, economical rationality, safety and applicability, and environmental protection, this regulation is formulated. This procedure applies to the design, construction and acceptance of waterproofing projects for newly built, renovated and expanded basements, semi-basements and underground garages within the administrative area of Beijing. All units engaged in construction, design, construction and supervision of projects within the administrative region of Beijing must implement these regulations.
