- This standard specifies the heat balance and heat efficiency measurement and calculation methods of ceramic industrial kilns. This standard applies to the determination and calculation of the heat balance and heat efficiency of shuttle kilns and tunnel kilns that use liquid and gaseous fuels to produce ceramic products. The measurement and calculation of heat balance and heat efficiency of other types of furnaces can also refer to this standard.
