Scope: This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of self-adhesive polymer modified asphalt waterproofing membranes (referred to as self-adhesive membranes). This standard applies to body self-adhesive waterproofing membranes that use self-adhesive polymer-modified asphalt as the base material and are not exposed to the tire base or reinforced with polyester tire base. This standard does not apply to polymer-modified bitumen waterproofing membranes whose surface is only covered with a self-adhesive layer.
