Scope

This standard specifies the equipment requirements, safety use requirements, service life, periodic inspection requirements and label management requirements for safety nets, safety belts and other fall protection equipment. This standard applies to fall protection equipment such as safety nets and safety belts used in high-altitude operations, climbing and suspension operations. This standard does not apply to fall protection equipment for sports, fire fighting, etc.
