Scope

This part of GB/T 4074 stipulates the method of measuring the thermal life and temperature index of enamelled round wire in normal pressure air through constant temperature life and dynamic thermogravimetric test. The change of electric strength is used as the failure criterion, and the test results can be used as the evaluation The basis for choosing enamelled round wire in the insulation structure of electrical equipment. Scope of application: Determination of thermal life and temperature index of enamelled round wire (including self-adhesive enameled round wire and composite enameled round wire), and research on the compatibility of two or more composite enameled wires. Determining the service life and temperature index of different metal conductors and enamelled round wires with different treatments on the conductor surface. When raising reasonable objections to the results measured in this part, routine tests shall be carried out according to GB/T 4074.7-2009, and the conventional methods shall prevail.
