Scope
This part of GB/T 19290 specifies the additional dimensions of the modular series of subracks and their inserts based on GB/T 19290.4. A typical subrack consists of a frame whose installation dimensions are designed to fit into a rack or cabinet conforming to GB/T 19290.3. In order to comply with the installation size of the front plug-in, the frame opening size of the plug-in box is stipulated. This part of GB/T 19290 includes: - additional dimensions of subracks and related plug-ins with plug-in handles; - dimensions of electromagnetic shielding measures; - dimensions of coding key systems for subracks and plug-ins; - Dimensions of alignment pins for front panels and inserts; - Dimensions for electrostatic discharge measures; - Dimensions for rear mounted inserts. The dimensions associated with the connectors are given in Annex A. In order to ensure the compatibility of the plug-in in the subrack, inspection dimensions and dimensions determined by the connector are specified.
