- This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of 1-aminonaphthalene, 2-aminonaphthalene, 3-aminobiphenyl and 4-aminobiphenyl four aromatic amines in the total particulate matter of cigarette mainstream smoke. This standard applies to the determination of four main aromatic amines, 1-aminonaphthalene, 2-aminonaphthalene, 3-aminobiphenyl and 4-aminobiphenyl in the total particulate matter of mainstream cigarette smoke.
