Scope: This standard specifies two methods for measuring the color of fluorescent samples—spectrophotometry, photoelectric integration method, and the expression method of the measurement results. This standard applies to the relative measurement of the color of reflective fluorescent samples that emit light in the visible region. This standard does not apply to the measurement of the color of electroluminescent samples, chemiluminescent samples and phosphorescent samples; nor does it apply to the measurement of fluorescence characteristics for chemical analysis applications.
