This standard applies to dl-a-tocopheryl acetate prepared by chemical synthesis from 2,3,5-trimethylhydroquinone and isophytic alcohol. This product is used as a vitamin feed additive and an antioxidant in the feed industry. Chemical name: dl-a-tocopheryl acetate (also known as dl-a-tocopheryl acetate).
