Scope
This standard specifies the grading principles and rating methods for pinholes and grain size of cast aluminum alloys for armored vehicle engines and overburning and deterioration of cast aluminum-silicon alloys. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of pinholes and low-magnification grain size structures of cast aluminum alloys for armored vehicle engines and the evaluation of over-burning and deterioration microstructures of cast aluminum-silicon alloys for armored vehicle engines. Other similar cast aluminum alloy products can also be used as a reference.
