ISO 17497-1:2004 Acoustics - Sound-scattering properties of surfaces - Part 1: Measurement of the random-incidence scattering coefficient in a reverberation room
This part of GB/T 21228 specifies the measurement method for the scattering coefficient of random incident sound on a surface caused by surface roughness. Measurements should be made in a reverberation chamber with a full-scale model or a physical scale model. The measurement can be used to describe how much of the sound reflection from the surface deviates from the specular reflection. The results can also be used for comparisons and design calculations related to room acoustics and noise control. This method is not suitable for characterizing the spatially uniform distribution characteristics of surface acoustic scattering.
