Scope

This standard specifies the preparation, corrosion and microstructure inspection methods, defect classification, test report, etc. of samples for low-magnification microstructure inspection of deformed magnesium alloys. This standard is applicable to low-magnification and fracture structure inspection of wrought magnesium alloy ingots and processed products.
