- Scope
- This standard specifies the principle of eddy current flaw detection for seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes (except submerged arc welded pipes), flaw detection requirements, flaw detection methods, comparison samples, flaw detection equipment, flaw detection equipment operation and adjustment, and flaw detection result evaluation. This standard applies to eddy current testing of steel pipes with an outer diameter of not less than 4 mm. The acceptance level of this standard is divided into A level and 8 level (see Table 1 and Table 2).
