This standard specifies the method for measuring the concentration of trichlorethylene (trichloroethene) and tetrachlorethylene (tetrachloroethene) among volatile organic compounds in the air using a long-term measuring tube. Additionally, this standard applies when the concentration of the substance to be measured is between several 10s and 100s of μg/m, or around that range, and the effect of interfering substances on the detection tube can be ignored.
