Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the content of toxic biogenic amines in aquatic products by high performance liquid chromatography. This standard is applicable to the detection of phenylethylamine, putrescine, cadaverine, histamine, octopamine, tyramine and spermidine in shrimp, fish and shellfish.
