Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatographic method for the determination of butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) in cosmetics. This standard applies to the determination of Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHA) and Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT) in solid, paste and liquid cosmetics. The method detection limit of this standard: Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) are both 0.005%.
