- This standard specifies the determination method for the total lead content in the surface coating of toys. This standard applies to the determination of the total lead content in surface coatings on toys and toy accessories. This standard does not apply to inks that cannot be scraped off after printing and have essentially become matrix materials, such as pigments for plastic products, and materials that are combined with matrix materials, such as electroplating and glazes on ceramics.
