Scope

This part of GB/T 2952 specifies the type, name, structure, material, size and technical requirements of the general outer sheath of metal-sheathed cables and the special outer sheath of lead-sheathed oil-filled cables. This section applies to the outer sheath of electric power, communication, signal, control and oil-filled cables with metal sheaths and fixed laying methods. This section does not apply to the outer sheath of power cables such as compressed air and cables with other special requirements.
