- This standard specifies the grade name, code and alkali metal (potassium, sodium) content range of alkali metal (potassium, sodium) content classification in coal. This standard is applicable to the classification of alkali metal (potassium, sodium) content in coal exploration, production and processing and utilization. The evaluation of alkali metal (potassium, sodium) content levels in coal products can also be implemented with reference to this standard.
