- This standard specifies the instruments and equipment, measurement procedures and results expression methods used to determine the acid-soluble content in coal-based granular activated carbon. This standard is applicable to the determination of acid-soluble matter content in coal-based granular activated carbon, and is also applicable to fruit shell and wood-based activated carbon; it is also applicable to used activated carbon, regenerated carbon and powdered carbon.
