Scope: This standard specifies the basic principles and requirements that consumer product packaging should follow in order to meet the needs of consumers. This standard applies to the formulation of standards related to consumer product packaging. - remove unnecessary packaging to lower product prices and reduce waste generated by unnecessary packaging; - ensure that consumers receive products in good condition; - protect consumers from potential hazards caused by packaging or contents Damage; - to enable consumers to store products correctly and to preserve, dispose of or recycle packaging correctly, so as to minimize the harm caused by packaging to the environment. This standard does not apply to packaging used to transport products in bulk between manufacturers and retailers.
