- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, inspection methods, marks and packaging of three needles used for thread measurement. This standard is applicable to three needles with a nominal diameter D ranging from 0.118mm to 6.212mm for testing the pitch diameter of the thread.
