Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of the food additive sodium ferric ethylenediaminetetraacetate (NaFeEDTA). This standard applies to the food additive sodium ferric edetate produced by the reaction of ferric inorganic salts and sodium ferric edetate as raw materials. This product is used as an iron nutrition enhancer.
