- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test conditions, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of lead-acid batteries for solar power generation equipment, wind turbines and other renewable energy storage. This standard applies to lead-acid batteries for energy storage (hereinafter referred to as batteries) with rated voltages of 2V, 6V and 12V.
