This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, reagents, instruments, sample preparation, analysis steps, result calculation and repeatability of the determination of total nitrogen content in vegetable oilseed cakes. This standard applies to the determination of the total nitrogen content in cakes obtained from vegetable oils treated by pressing or leaching. This standard does not apply to compound products obtained from vegetable oil cakes.
