Scope

This standard specifies the sampling methods of crude oil, refined animal and vegetable oils, and the equipment required for sampling. This standard is applicable to liquid oil and solid oil samples. Note: The sampling method of milk, dairy products and milk fat is not applicable (see ISO 707 for details).
