1.1 This standard specifies the possible sources of uncertainty in the dose measurement of gamma-ray, X-ray (bremsstrahlung) and electron beam radiation devices, and specifies the evaluation procedure for the uncertainty of the absorbed dose measured by the dosimetry system; at the same time Defines and expounds the basic concept of measurement, the evaluation of the measured value of the quantity, the "true value", error and uncertainty; specifies the evaluation method of the uncertainty components, and gives the standard deviation of these components to the reported value of absorbed dose The contribution of the degree of certainty, and the calculation method of the combined standard uncertainty and the evaluation method of the expanded (total) uncertainty are given. The determination of uncertainty components follows the procedures of ISO, and this standard no longer uses the traditional concepts of precision and deviation, see Appendix E for examples. 1.2 This standard adopts practical knowledge of statistics (see references [1], [2], [3], [4]). 1.3 This standard does not address user-related safety issues, if any. The user of this standard is responsible for establishing applicable safety and health standards and determining applicable limitations prior to use.
