Scope: This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of shielding clothing for live working. This standard is applicable to the shielding clothing worn by workers when performing live work on electrical equipment with voltage levels of AC 110 (66) kV ~ 750 kV, DC ± 500 kV and below. A complete shielding suit includes a top, pants, gloves, socks, shoes and a face shield.
