Scope

This standard specifies the method for quantitative analysis of various fiber content such as cashmere, sheep wool and their blended products using scanning electron microscopy. This standard applies to cashmere, sheep wool and their mixed fibers and blended products. This standard is also applicable to the following types of fibers and their blended products: mohair, camel hair, rabbit hair and yak hair, etc.
