Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry method for the determination of chloramphenicol residues in food of animal origin. This standard applies to the qualitative confirmation and quantitative determination of chloramphenicol, flumethicone and thiamphenicol residues in aquatic products, livestock and poultry products and livestock and poultry by-products.
