This standard specifies the determination method of nitrogen content in grains, beans and derivative products by Kjeldahl method and the calculation method of crude protein content. This method cannot distinguish between protein nitrogen and non-protein nitrogen. If the determination of non-protein nitrogen content is important, other suitable methods can be used.
