- This standard specifies the product model, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, storage and transportation, and instructions for use of pole-type power hedge trimmers that use gasoline as the power source to transmit power to the cutting parts through the transmission shaft. This standard applies to pole-type power hedge trimmers (hereinafter referred to as hedge trimmers) whose power device is a side-mounted, backpack-mounted linear reciprocating cutter for trimming hedges.
